1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VidMedia.Live (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in GDPR jurisdictions) to use this Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. If local law restricts or prohibits the use of this type of service, you must not use the platform.

3. Description of Service

VidMedia.Live provides a web-based tool that allows users to download publicly accessible video and audio content from supported third-party platforms. The Service processes media URLs submitted by users and generates download links for personal offline access. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

4. Subscriptions & Payments (Google Play Billing)

Premium subscriptions purchased through our mobile applications are billed and processed by Google through the Google Play Billing service. For these purchases, Google Play is the merchant of record. Your purchase, use, and payment of subscriptions through Google Play are governed by Google's Terms of Service and the Google Play Terms of Service, which you agree to when making your purchase.

Key terms for mobile subscriptions:

  • Auto-Renewing Subscriptions: Mobile subscriptions are auto-renewing. Unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription will automatically renew for the same duration and price using the payment method associated with your Google Play account.
  • Free Trials: If a plan includes a free trial period, you will not be charged until the trial ends. Unless you cancel before the trial expires, you will automatically be enrolled in the paid subscription and charged the applicable price.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then. To cancel, open the Google Play Store app, go to Subscriptions, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled by Google in accordance with the Google Play refund policy. We do not process or issue refunds for purchases made through Google Play; all refund requests must be directed to Google Play.
  • Price Changes: Google may notify you of any changes to your subscription price, and your continued use of the subscription after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Merchant of Record: Google Play is the merchant of record for all purchases made through Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card or other payment information for these purchases.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for any content you submit, download, or share through the Service. You agree to:

  • Only download content that you have the legal right to access and reproduce.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of content creators and platform owners.
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing purpose.
  • Not submit URLs to content that violates third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service.
  • Not resell or commercially exploit the Service or its output without written authorization.
  • Not use this service to download content from platforms or publishers that explicitly prohibit downloading in their Terms of Service, or to copy, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted material without the rights holder's permission.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by VidMedia.Live or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without prior written consent.

Third-party content accessed through the Service remains the property of its respective owners. The Service does not claim ownership over any content downloaded through the platform.

7. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Notice

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws, we will respond to valid notices of copyright infringement.

DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing the following information:

  1. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The URL or other specific location of the allegedly infringing material on our Service.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We may terminate or restrict your access to the Service if you violate these terms or engage in any conduct that we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
